Ginger Me Events, founded by Britney Cooks, is a boutique event planning collective that creates thoughtfully designed gatherings rooted in connection, creativity, and community.
Britney is trained in the Lemiga Method, a planning framework created by master event planner, Michelle Gainey. This training equips her with a strategic approach to event design—balancing logistics, storytelling, and guest engagement to create seamless and memorable experiences.
Before entering the events industry, Britney built her career in special education, where she developed exceptional skills in organization, adaptability, and thoughtful planning. She brings this same level of care and attention to detail into her events, ensuring that every element—from programming to guest flow—is intentionally designed and well executed.
We create unique occasions that blend culture, creativity, and fun — from brand activations and immersive marketing programming to community engagement events. The mission is simple: to ginger or “pep up” events with interactive design and thoughtful programming that sparks energy, connection, and memorable experiences.
