The "Ginger" Experience!

Ginger Me Events is an experiential production collective founded by Britney Cooks, a Freelance Event Business to Business (B2B) Field Producer & Logistics Partner. Inspired by her childhood experiences of feeling excluded while growing up in her hometown of  Houston, Texas, Britney’s mission is to create spaces that foster community engagement and intentional inclusion. 

Britney is trained in the Lemiga Method, a planning framework developed by master event planner Michelle Gainey. This training empowers her with a strategic approach to event design, merging logistics, storytelling, and guest engagement to craft seamless and memorable experiences. 

Before her foray into the events industry, Britney cultivated her career in special education — working closely with nonverbal children and students with complex communication needs. When a child cannot tell you what they need, you learn to observe everything: body language, patterns, timing, environment —  that skill set fundamentally shaped the way Britney produces events.  It built an instinct for detail that catches what others overlook: the vendor running behind, the guest flow creating a bottleneck, the setup that will cause an issue mid-program. 

 For Britney, a great event isn't just what happens on stage. It's what every person in the room feels from the moment they walk in.

Ginger Me Events specializes in high-impact event productions that intertwine culture, creative direction, and seamless operational flow. The mission is straightforward: to 'ginger' or inject vibrant energy into every encounter.
